PaySystems Of America – Feb 2008 – Present

Account Manager – Selling payroll services, time and attendance solutions (hardware also), human resource tracking systems, third party administration for workers compensation, 401(k) admin., and flexible benefits solutions, concentrating on businesses with 25+ employees.  Duties include $10,000 new PAYROLL business monthly quota, with mandatory 250 tracked dials weekly, 8 new 1st appointments SET weekly, run 8 appointments weekly, as well as acquiring checks for setup fees and 50% hardware costs up front and a voided check.  Help coordinate hardware installation setup and training. Get an EFTPS mandate letter, document from IRS w/ fed ID# stating whether monthly or semi-weekly depositor.  Get for ALL active and terminated employees paid the current year their name, address, social security #, marital status, # of exemptions, department, hourly rate or salary, any deductions, date of birth, date of hire.  Total Gross, FICA, (SS & Medicare), Federal, State, Local, Deductions, Net Pay for current year.  Liabilities and deposits for 941 tax-Federal Withholding, FICA, State Withholding, Local Withholding per pay period for current quarter, Federal Unemployment quarterly 940 deposit amounts and WC codes/rate

District Account Executive – Selling payroll services and a host of other related services to small and medium sized businesses in Texas.  Heavy emphasis on cold calling and appointment setting, developing relationships with CPAs and network referral partners. 

 

Fanfare Media Works – Feb 2006- Feb 2007

Regional Sales Manager – Selling advertising on shopping carts and cash register receipts for Kroger grocery stores in Texas.  Responsible for interviewing, hiring, classroom and field training and daily activity of all Account Executives in Texas, and $10,000 in personal productivity monthly.  Achieved a 95% increase in monthly revenue, nearly doubling last years monthly totals in first six months.

Senior Account Executive - Selling Unbundled Network Element Platform and facilities based local and long distance telecom services, concentrating on Integrated T-1 packages and High speed  Internet solutions. $6500 monthly quota.  Sold first two Integrated Beta T-1s, and sold the most Integrated T-1s nationwide from Houston.

Duties Include – New sales and account/client management, design detailed territory plan and action plan to meet monthly sales quota levels.  Responsible for Houston sales of AT&T Commercial Markets E-Commerce Business Solutions.  AT&T Web Hosting Platform, (EW3) Easy World Wide Web, and (EWDP) Enhanced Web Development Package.  SecureBuy Merchant Services for secure credit card transactions and project iA.  Internet Call-Bridging to connect web surfers and merchants.  TFID – Toll Free Internet Directory.  Top Gun national award winner ranked #1 nationwide.

 

Snyder Communications, Inc.  - March 1994 – Sept 1996

District Sales Manager - Duties include – AT&T business market Telecom sales.  Management of 12 to 22 professional sales executives

for Daily order approval of team sales to be mailed to corporate office.  Monthly sales quota of 200 new accounts with minimum

of 12 producing sales reps.  Responsible for new hire classroom training and complete field training of new reps.

 

Info-Hwy Communications - Account Mgr / Sales Mgr – ISP/CLEC October 1991 – Feb 1994

Account Manager selling local and long distance telecom services.  UNEP, facilities based and web content development sales, ISP local dial-up and ISDN connectivity sales and Website Hosting services.  Responsible for seminar presentations, trade shows and expo presentations.  Daily premise visits and sales calls.  Promoted to Sales Manager, made weekly reports to the VP of Sales, including sales breakdowns by rep, average sale, forecasts and sales funnel reviews.

 

Association Publications, Inc. - Department Manager/Art Director –  May 1986 – Sept. 1991

Duties Include – Advertising layout and design, publication coordination, copy editing and blueline editing and copy content approval.  Coordinated with writers, photographers, editors, graphic artists, and reported directly to the President with reports by issue with revenue and ad/copy ratio.  Responsible for setting publishing and shipping schedules, meeting all set deadlines.
